Guy Carpenter hire boosts US regional market

Guy Carpenter & Company has appointed Jim Chambers as senior vice president. Based in Iowa, Chambers will be responsible for managing and serving customers in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Chambers has worked in the mutual reinsurance industry for 25 years. At Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company, he was a part of the leadership group and served as vice president of reinsurance. He also served as secretary/treasurer and manager at the Danish Mutual Insurance Association.

He will report to David Domino, manager of the Philadelphia branch of Guy Carpenter, where the company’s regional reinsurance capabilities are based.
