HDI Global Specialty expands UK executive team in growth strategy

Specialty lines insurer HDI Global Specialty SE has expanded its UK executive team with the hires of Clare Constable as director of claims and Will Morris as director of underwriting for delegated authority.

Constable joins from Canopius Group where she held the role of head of open market & reinsurance claims. She has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance sector.

Will Morris was underwriting manager at Nuclear Risk Insurers since 2016, and has previously held senior underwriting roles at Generali, Zurich, Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, and Munich Re.

With Morris' appointment, Rafael Rebitzky, HDI Global Specialty SE’s current underwriting director for specialty lines, will focus on open market business.

Richard Taylor, HDI Global Specialty SE UK managing director and a member of the UK executive board, said: “To achieve our growth strategy targets we need to have a best-in-class claims service. Clare’s expertise in this area will be invaluable as we enhance and redefine our UK claims proposition.”
