IAT poaches senior underwriter for management liability unit from Travelers

IAT Insurance Group, a provider of specialty property/casualty and surety products, has recruited a new senior underwriter within IAT’s new Management Liability division, ML Pro Plus.

Jeffrey Schnitzer joins from Travelers, where he spent more than 15 years, most recently as a senior account underwriter. He has more than four years of experience in management liability. Schnitzer also served in the property and casualty division of Travelers, with a focus on medical technology as well as international.

“Jeff’s background in management liability makes him a perfect addition to IAT’s growing ML Pro Plus division,” said John Passaro, SVP for management liability. “We’re looking forward to what he brings to the team as we develop and expand our offerings in this area.”

IAT's Management Liability business unit offers ML Pro Plus coverage to private and not-for-profit companies, including directors and officers liability, employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, fidelity insurance (commercial crime), and cyber liability. It features a portfolio of management liability products and is available in all 50 states.

Schnitzer will be based in IAT’s Newark, New Jersey office.
