IGI hires ACE political violence exec

Re/insurer International General Insurance (IGI) has appointed Stuart Elliot as a political violence underwriter in its IGI UK business.

Elliot joins from ACE European Group, where he served as terrorism and political violence underwriter.

Andreas Loucaides, chief executive officer of IGI UK said: “Stuart brings with him a wealth of experience as an underwriter who will enhance our political violence team and as a broker with expertise in the Africa and Asia-Pacific regions.

“Stuart’s appointment is part of IGI UK’s strategy for growth in new and existing lines. We are working in an extremely competitive environment and we want to ensure we continue to provide a high-quality service together with expertise to meet the needs of our clients and brokers.”
