JLT Re appoints head of strategic advisory for the Americas

Reinsurance broker JLT Re has promoted Nick Dranchak to head of strategic advisory for the Americas.

In his new role, Dranchak will lead the delivery of JLT Re’s best in class strategic advisory services—including ratings advisory, strategic analytics and franchise value advisory—in the US, Canada and throughout Central and South America.

Dranchak joined JLT Re’s strategic advisory team in 2014. Prior to JLT Re, he spent six years as senior financial analyst with AM Best.

Dranchak will report to Mark Shumway, global head of strategic advisory, and will continue to be based in Philadelphia.

David Flandro, global head of analytics for JLT Re, said: “This appointment further strengthens JLT Re’s Strategic Advisory function and reinforces the firm’s position as the most innovative advisory services provider in the sector.”
