JLT Re lures Guy Carp exec

JLT Re has appointed Joe Soto as head of client support and services for its Latin American treaty operation.

Soto has over 30 years of experience in the reinsurance sector and joins from Guy Carpenter. He has spent the majority of his career at Aon Benfield as part of the Latin America operation in London.

Bradley Maltese, deputy chief executive officer of UK & Europe, said: "Joe brings a vast wealth of experience and knowledge to this new role which demonstrates our commitment and growth in the region.
