Lockton Re snags TransRe's senior vice president of casualty

Lockton Re, the global reinsurance business of broker Lockton, has appointed Anthony Izzo as a senior broker based in the New York office.

Izzo joins from TransRe, where he spent five years as a senior vice president of casualty. Prior to TransRe, he held various senior roles at Willis, Guy Carpenter and Aon, leading facultative, programme and retail construction groups with nearly 20 years of broking experience.

In his new role, Izzo will be working across Lockton Re with responsibility for the client management of a portfolio of global insurers and reinsurers. He will also be developing opportunities with the wider Lockton business and provide casualty expertise.

Izzo will report to Nick Durant, CEO North America, Lockton Re, who said: “Tony is a hugely respected market figure and a great addition to our growing team at Lockton Re.
