Markel promotes Mozingo to global insurance role in US

Markel Corporation has appointed Glenn Mozingo to the newly-created role of managing director, global insurance business development and corporate account executive.

In his new role, Mozingo will serve as a key point of contact for brokers throughout the US. He will be tasked to promote product lines underwritten by Markel's global insurance division and cultivate strategic relationships with production partners.

Mozingo will be based in Richmond, Virginia, and report to the president of Markel's global insurance division Britt Glisson.

Mozingo joined Markel Corporation in 2011 to lead its industry practice groups after serving as regional placement officer for Willis HRH's Atlantic Region.

"Glenn's extensive insurance industry experience and strong broker relationships are invaluable assets for our team," Glisson commented. "In this newly-created role, Glenn will collaborate with key brokers and create profitable premium growth plans for our Global Insurance product lines."
