MGA Hive Aero appoints aviation analyst

Hive Aero, a managing general agency (MGA) specialising in aviation hull war insurance, has hired Mark Shurville as aviation analyst.

Based in London, Shurville will be responsible for portfolio and data analytics, and will work closely with chief underwriting officer Bruce Carman and class underwriter Will Gaunt.

Shurville has more than 28 years of experience in the aviation broking market.

“It gives me great delight to welcome Mark to Hive Aero. Mark’s wealth of knowledge in the sector, coupled with his excellent analytical capabilities will be a huge asset to us," said Carman. "His appointment serves to reinforce how committed Hive Aero is to innovation and further demonstrates our focus on delivering market leading services to airline clients and capacity providers.”
