Mt Logan Re appoints Sirius exec as CFO

Mt Logan Re, the special purpose reinsurer and subsidiary of Everest Re, has appointed Martin Burke as its chief financial officer (CFO).

Burke has 15 years of experience in senior finance roles in the reinsurance industry and was most recently with Sirius International (Bermuda), where he served as vice president and controller. Prior to joining Sirius in 2007, Burke had worked for Marsh (Bermuda) and Interpolis Re (Dublin, Ireland).

Rick Pagnani, president and chief executive officer of Mt Logan Re, said: “We are excited to have Martin join our team. He is distinctly qualified having experience in both re/insurance and the capital markets and is perfectly suited to help as we continue to expand and evolve our platform in response to investor demands and the further emerging opportunities within the convergence market.”
