Only £8 million of capacity was traded in the second Lloyd's capacity auction of 2015, according to analysis from members' agent firm Argenta.
This is the lowest figure for capacity traded in any main auction since auctions began 20 years ago.
The capacity was traded on 21 syndicates.
This compares to the first auction of 2015, where £23 million of capacity changed hands.
“There was more than £350 million of capacity subscribed for but just £35 million of capacity tendered for sale by members,” said Argenta.
