RSG names CEO of new property cat underwriting facility

Ryan Specialty Group (RSG) has appointed Katie Davies to join an RSG affiliate as president and CEO of a new property catastrophe managing underwriting facility.

RSG said this facility will be exclusive to RT Specialty, and provide additional capacity and innovative property solutions. It will underwrite all forms of property exposure and will also have a strong catastrophe component.

"Katie Davies is a highly respected leader and one of the best property minds in the industry," RSG said in a statement. "With her leadership, we are confident that she will attract additional top decile underwriting talent to develop and build out this new facility."
