Safety National Casualty promotes reinsurance buyer
Safety National Casualty Corporation, a member of Tokio Marine Group which mainly writes excess workers’ compensation coverage to self-insured employers and groups nationwide in the US, has appointed a new vice president of ceded reinsurance.
Debbie Biggane, previously assistant vice president of ceded reinsurance, will assume the role. The appointment was made alongside a number of other senior management changes in the company.
Tom Grove, assistant vice president of business development will assume the role as vice president of business development. Stan Simek, director of Excess Workers’ Compensation, will assume the role of vice president – Excess Workers’ Compensation Underwriting.
Nick Kriegel, assistant general counsel, will assume the role as vice president and Assistant General Counsel. Michael Kim, director – Loss Portfolio Transfer, will assume the role as vice president – Loss Portfolio Transfer.
Mike Harris, assistant vice president – Claims, will assume the role of vice president – claims. And Rich Gilmore, assistant vice president – business development, will assume the role of vice president – Eastern Region.
