Skyward lands 34-year Munich Re veteran to bolster board expertise

Skyward Specialty Insurance Group, a specialty property and casualty (P&C) insurer, has tapped the expertise of a former Munich Re veteran, who worked at the reinsurance giant for over three decades, latterly as CEO of its North American business.

Anthony Kuczinski (pictured) is to join the board of directors of Skyward with effect from August 1, 2023.

Kuczinski has more than 38 years of industry expertise, including 34 years at Munich Re, where he served as president and chief executive officer of Munich Reinsurance US Holdings for 15 years. Throughout his tenure, Kuczinski has held prominent leadership roles at The Institutes, Reinsurance Association of America, and the American Property Casualty Insurance Association.

"We are thrilled to welcome Tony to our Board of Directors. Tony's career accomplishments, extensive experience, industry leadership and personal character make him an outstanding addition to our board," said Andrew Robinson, Skyward Specialty CEO. "I speak for our entire Skyward Specialty board in welcoming Tony. We look forward to his contributions."
