Swiss Re hires reinsurance chief commercial officer from Verisk

Global reinsurer  Swiss Re has hired a new chief commercial officer for reinsurance solutions from data analytics firm Verisk.

Paul Latarche (pictured) will join the company in September.

Latarche currently leads the international sales team at Verisk. His previous employers encompass Moore Stephens (today BDO), Room Solutions and Eurobase Systems.

Russell Higginbotham, CEO  Swiss Re Solutions, said: "Paul Latarche has many achievements in building up commercial teams and brings an outstanding track record in selling solutions. I very much look forward to working with him and am convinced he will bring great value to our Reinsurance Solutions offering in this newly created role. We will especially profit from his experience in the area of data and analytics."
