TransRe bolsters cyber team with promotion

TransRe has appointed Miguels Canals to join its cyber team, based in New York.

Canals was promoted from the position of underwriter for TransRe's facultative casualty division in the Miami office.

Javier Atala, an underwriter analyst at TransRe, will now assume responsibility for the casualty facultative division in Canals' stead.

"We are very proud that Miguel has been chosen to be part of this new project and we thank him for his contribution to the division during the time he was working, wishing him the best of luck in his new professional challenges," said Marco Giovane, senior vice president and chief underwriting officer at TransRe.
