TransRe taps 18 year company vet for global portfolio management

Reinsurer  TransRe, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alleghany Corporation, has tapped a 18-year company veteran to lead its global portfolio management function and drive analytic initiatives.

Lisa Moser has been promoted to president, global portfolio management. In her new role, Moser will lead a team focused on global product strategies, portfolio analysis, underwriting authorities and audits, risks tolerances, financial planning and analysis and applied data. The team also delivers additional technical insights and supports  TransRe’s local underwriting teams and their clients and brokers.

Moser joined  TransRe in 2004 as a property underwriter and has assumed roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as  TransRe first global property management leader. In that role, Moser worked to optimise  TransRe’s property portfolio, develop metrics and liaise with the regional underwriting teams to efficiently and effectively allocate aggregates.

Moser will report directly to Ken Brandt (pictured), chairman, president and CEO of  TransRe.
