Weisshorn Re appoints CEO
Zurich-based reinsurer Weisshorn Re AG has appointed Patrick Kelleher as CEO and delegate to the board of directors. Kelleher has experience leading re/insurance businesses on an international scale and risk management experience across a range of life and non-life insurance businesses.

In his most recent roles as president and CEO of US life insurance and insurance and wealth management, Kelleher was responsible for repositioning the US life companies, and overseeing the European lifestyle protection and wealth management businesses within Genworth Financial. Previously, he was senior vice-president and chief financial officer of Genworth Financial.
He has also held positions at Transamerica Reinsurance, Manulife Financial and SunLife Financial.
