Willis rebrands division as Willis Towers Watson Securities

Broker Willis Towers Watson has rebranded its insurance-focused investment banking division, the company said in a statement.

Previously known as Willis Capital Markets & Advisory (WCMA), the division has been renamed Willis Towers Watson Securities.

According to the company, the new brand will consolidate all broker-dealers across the Willis Towers Watson group to offer clients seamless access to a comprehensive and integrated suite of securities products and solutions.

Willis Towers Watson Securities' services will include strategic advisory, capital raising and insurance-linked securities.

"We are excited to be launching the new platform," said Rafal Walkiewicz, CEO of Willis Towers Watson Securities. "Willis Towers Watson Securities’ clients will benefit from greater access to world class investment banking and securities expertise combined with specialist in-depth insight into the insurance industry.

"Our unique position in the market allows us to combine the investment banking services of Willis Towers Watson Securities with the advisory strength of the wider Willis Towers Watson group to place our clients at the forefront of industry innovation."
