Rush to E&S may have sacrificed diversification, Cincinnati warns

The excess and surplus lines bonanza may be built on a few thin foundations, eventually punishing latecomers who rushed the zone with outsourced underwriting and a necessarily narrow focus, officials at Cincinnati Financial have suggested.
