Russian aircraft settlements see Greenlight Re shore up reserves
The pace and shape of settlements for aircraft withheld by Russian airlines after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022 has picked up sufficient steam to warrant a major review of provisions at the reinsurance level, officials at reinsurance group Greenlight Re told their company’s Q4 earnings call following a major reserve writing.
