Scor ups book 1.3% at mid-year, piles into specialty & alt solutions

Global reinsurance giant Scor grew its book at the mid-year renewals, increasing total estimated premium by 1.3% by balancing major gains in specialty against declines in core P&C lines in a move that should add less than two points to underwriting ratios.
