SEC scolds Brookfield for shortcomings in financial reporting

Brookfield Wealth Solutions, formerly Brookfield Reinsurance, took an upbraiding from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a series of financial reporting shortcomings that took management two and half months to smooth over.
