Swiss Re sees structural limits of MGA model in evolving market

Swiss Re’s primary commercial insurance unit Corporate Solutions will limit its use of MGAs to tactical add-on roles on belief that the MGA value proposition is limited by adding links to the chain, getting between client and carrier, and adding costs and unknowns to the calculus, a top official has indicated.
