TWIA may face 32% increase in reinsurance limit purchase in 2025

The Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA), the state's residual insurer, could increase its reinsurance purchase notably in 2025 on a double-digit rise in modelled PMLs and an attempt to cut retentions, documents prepared for board review indicate.
