WTW MGU Verita attracts ex-Sompo duo for claims leadership
The managing general underwriting (MGU) company of global broker WTW has unveiled its claims leadership team with senior hires boasting pedigrees from Sompo, Chubb, Farmers Insurance, and Gallagher.
William Barry (pictured left) has been appointed as the chief claim manager and Chris Adolph (pictured right) as head of property claims.
Barry has over 30 years of experience in casualty claims, claim account management, and client servicing. Most recently, he was senior vice president, head of claim account management at Sompo International Insurance. He has managed global teams of claim account managers and will offer claim technical skills, leadership abilities, and innovative account management strategies to the company.
Adolph has over 25 years of experience in property claims, vendor management, and client engagement. Prior to joining Verita, he spearheaded teams in property claims, estimate review, multiline best practices audit, and vendor management for multiple international insurance organisations. He worked at Sompo International as vice president of property claims, Global Risk Solutions. Prior to that, he spent more than nine years at Chubb and over six years at Farmers Insurance.
