Xchanging appoints broking director
Xchanging, the business process, procurement and technology services provider, has appointed Nick Lamb as director of broking and managing director of Xchanging Broking Services (XBS).
Lamb will have oversight of the entire broking business and take on responsibility for growth by seeking out opportunities to develop its service offering for existing and new clients, whilst also diversifying the wider portfolio.
Lamb was previously commercial & finance and strategy & business development director at Xchanging, having joined the company as a service director in 2010. Prior to this, he held roles at companies including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Aviva and Capita Group.
Adrian Guttridge, executive director, Xchanging Global Insurance Services, said: “I’m pleased to welcome Nick into his new role. His appointment will support our plans to strengthen Xchanging’s position in London, and also our strategy to take our proven capabilities to the global market. We are committed to investing in our business, enabling us to deliver results for our existing clients while at the same time identifying new opportunities for growth.”
Lamb added: “This is a very exciting time for Xchanging, particularly within the insurance business, and the broking sector will play a vital role in its plans for global growth. The broking market is a prime example of how we are taking our London based expertise to a worldwide audience.
“Our offerings, combining both BPO and technology solutions, provide clients with technology-enabled back office support, as well as front end services which allow them to stand out in a competitive market. Our work behind the scenes allows them to leverage their core competencies and concentrate on their own customers and plans for expansion.”
