Florida under state of emergency ahead of Cat 5 Hurricane Milton strike
A state of emergency has been declared in 54 of Florida’s 67 counties as Hurricane Milton, a Category 5 storm, is set to hit the Gulf Coast late tonight (October 9) or early Thursday (October 10), with possible tornadoes in central and southern Florida, according to forecasts.
