Game changers celebrated at Intelligent Insurer’s Cyber Insurance Awards Europe 2024
When technology is a fundamental aspect of your brand, competing for a top gong at Intelligent Insurer's Cyber Insurance Awards Europe 2024 was inevitably going to be a challenge, and picking the winners was no easy task for the judges.
The winners and highly commended showcased innovation and technology use that has really changed the game across the industry board.
Coalition scooped the Cyber MGA of the Year award for its innovation, client-centricity and clever use of technology, the judges revealed, with a highly commended presented to Corvus Insurance in this category.
The gong for the Cyber Insurtech of the Year was collected by Parametrix Insurance, with a highly commended award going to Axio.
The winning entrant Parametrix Insurance was praised by the judges for its speed and success in creating a comprehensive, compelling and innovative solution. Judges were impressed because the solution “not only carefully considers essential friction points, for example by ensuring it is easy to make a claim, but it also has the potential to make a big difference to aggregation and risk”.
The Association of British Insurers (ABI) won the Cyber Insurance SME Initiative of the Year for its Cyber Safety Tool initiative. In this category Onda picked up a highly commended prize.
The judges said ABI’s Cyber Safety Tool initiative has the potential to play a key role in raising cyber standards for SMEs on a large scale across the UK and, with the right support, Europe.
Axio won the top bauble in the Cyber Property Damage Product of the Year category for its innovative solution for clients, with highly commended recognition for Aon.
Judges lauded Axio for its hard-won recognition in the cyber market for delivering real value—helping clients to make informed decisions, while giving brokers information on potential clients far beyond what would be available in a normal submission. Axio’s talent base means it has the knowledge to help develop the market, the judges added.
