Team champions revealed at Intelligent Insurer’s Cyber Insurance Awards Europe 2024
Teamwork is at the heart of success when it comes to cyber insurance excellence and high performing teams were in abundance at this year's Intelligent Insurer’s Cyber Insurance Awards Europe 2024.
CFC celebrated a double win as the firm picked up the Cyber Claims Team of the Year after already pocketing the Cyber Insurance Carrier of the Year award earlier at the event. In this category, the team from Axis was recognised with a highly commended award.
The judges selected CFC as the winner for its strong track record and market-leading cyber proposition. They said that the firm’s claims process provides a comprehensive response which carefully accommodates the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). CFC has one of the largest in-house response teams in the market, the judges said, praising its hands-on technically-led approach aimed at swift resolution and restitution.
The award for the Cyber Underwriting Team of the Year—Sponsored by AXA XL— was won by HDI Global, with a highly commended nod in this category for Mosaic Insurance.
The judges were impressed by HDI Global’s well-adjusted, sustainable approach, which has enabled them to adapt well to market change. The judges also praised the firm’s strong client focus as well as its balanced approach to risk engineering.
Munich Re took home the top prize in the Cyber Reinsurance Underwriting Team of the Year category, with highly commended recognition for Swiss Re.
The judges highlighted Munich Re’s strong leadership and long-term commitment to cyber. They also noted the reinsurer’s heavy investment in innovative support for clients as well as in critical infrastructure and setting new standards.
