Aon taps 35-year veteran from within as global power leader

Global re/insurance broker  Aon has tapped a 35-year company veteran for the role of global power leader as part of its investment in developing global specialties to deliver more value to clients.

Rob Woods (pictured) will step up from the position of managing director to become  Aon's global power leader. He has a strong background in the power generation and distribution sector and has been with  Aon since 2003.

David Mittelholzer, global industry specialty leader, natural resources, said: “I am excited that Rob has accepted this role within our Global Natural Resources group.  Aon's Power team is a key pillar to our global specialty strategy and commitment to our clients.
