Berkshire Hathaway Specialty doubles down in France with new office

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has opened an office in Lyon as its second location in France and eighth in Europe as part of efforts to expand its European growth.

“As we continue to grow steadily across Europe, the time is right to expand with an office and expanded team in Lyon,” said  BHSI's country manager for France François-Xavier d’Huart.

“Complementing our office in Paris, our team in Lyon will provide our full line of property, casualty and specialty insurance as well as claims and engineering services locally to customers in southeast France.”

BHSI's European presence now includes three offices in Germany, two in France, two in the UK and one in Spain.
