Berkshire's BHSI boosts executive & professional lines claims group

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has boosted the experience in its executive & professional lines claims unit with senior appointments.

Shelby Rootenberg has been promoted to senior vice president, head of US commercial lines (public) and financial institutions claims.

Megan Scully has been named senior vice president, head of US commercial lines (private), professional and transactional liability claims.

Rootenberg joined BHSI in 2014 as assistant vice president and head of financial lines claims. Prior to that, she spent over a decade in claims technical and management roles. She is based in BHSI’s New York office.

Scully joined BHSI in 2015 as vice president of miscellaneous professional liability/cyber and private company claims. Before BHSI, she was a claims director at a global property-casualty company. She is based in BHSI’s Chicago office
