Munich Re, Swiss Re continue to lead global reinsurers pack as SCOR slides

Munich Re, trailed by Swiss Re, led AM Best’s yearly ranking of the of the world’s 50 largest reinsurers. The combined gross premiums written by these top 50 players rose by 2.6% to $363.6 billion in 2022.
