Starr Companies gets Singapore licence

The Monetary Association of Singapore has granted Starr Companies a license to operate as a direct insurer in the republic.

Starr Companies’ will offer property, casualty, marine, aviation, financial lines and political risk insurance solutions.

The company has also announced the hiring of Chat Tat Yoong as the principal officer of the new Singapore operations.
