WTW Europe fac head appears at Howden after two decades

WTW (Willis Towers Watson) fac executive of over 20 years has started a new job at international broking group  Howden.

Luigi Boglione (pictured) joined  Howden in March as managing director in the broker’s international facultative reinsurance division in London.

Boglione has spent 20 years of his career at  WTW in various roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he was managing director, head of Europe, UK and rest of the world for property, global fac.

Before joining  WTW in January 2002, he spent four years at RSA Insurance Group in Italy as head of healthcare underwriting, Lloyd Italico.

“Last week I ended my 20-year career at  Willis (WTW). It has been an incredible and rewarding journey at both personal and professional level, during which I have met so many talented and inspiring individuals who have influenced me and helped me to shape who I am now,” Boglione announced on his LinkedIn page.

“I am now thrilled to join  Howden Group as a Managing Director in their International Facultative Reinsurance division in London,” he added. “A lot of excitement and a great honour to become part of one of the most dynamic and successful.”
