BMS makes senior Canada hire as firm expands private equity and M&A work
Specialist re/insurance broker BMS Group has appointed Trevor Kirsh as director of its BMS Canada Private Equity, M&A division. Kirsh will be based in Toronto and report to Jason Stone, managing director of the division, who joined the team in September 2020.
In his new role, Kirsh will develop the Canadian client network, providing cross-border M&A insurance solutions to clients.
Most recently, Kirsh was an associate senior legal counsel at Intact Financial Corporation, where he focused on M&A, insurance regulatory matters and corporate reorganisations. Before this he spent several years as a corporate and securities associate at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP and worked in both their Toronto and New York offices.
