ProSight appoints operations manager

ProSight Specialty Underwriter, an operating Syndicate at Lloyd’s, has appointed Colin Smith as operations manager.

Smith has over 20 years’ operations and programme management experience in the Lloyd’s market. He joins ProSight from Mitsui Sumitomo at Lloyd’s, where as syndicate operations manager, he was responsible for the establishment and management of its Central Operations Team.

Prior to this, Smith worked as a programme manager for Lloyd’s. He has also held operations and programme management roles at Aspen Re, Equitas Ltd and Bowring Insurance Brokers.

“Colin’s appointment to the key role of operations manager, with his vast experience and understanding of the processes required to support a successful syndicate, goes a long way towards ensuring that we have the infrastructure in place to meet our ambitions,” said Julian Enoizi, managing director of ProSight Speciality Underwriters.
