WTW bolsters sports & entertainment practice with Aon hire

Special Contingency Risks (SCR), a trading division of  WTW has hired a contingency specialist from rival Aon to drive strategic growth of its sports & entertainment capabilities globally.

Ed Harwood has joined  WTW. He will report to Ian Tomlin, who is head of accident & health and was recently appointed as sports & entertainment practice leader.

Harwood was most recently at Aon, responsible for London Market placement and insurer relationships.

“We are delighted that Ed has decided to join  WTW. His industry experience will complement our Crisis Management offering and further illustrates our strategic investment in key talent to advise clients in an evolving sector,” Tomlin commented.
