Getting Eric Andersen on the phone can be a logistical challenge in itself. The chief executive of Aon Benfield travels a lot. In the run-up to what ended up being a phone interview, he had visited London, Paris, Munich and Australia before heading back to the US—giving his PR team symptoms akin to jetlag as they grappled with a shifting diary, multiple time zones and demanding journalists.
