Everest offloads risk and doubles down on buybacks

Everest Group’s fourth-quarter earnings call revealed more than a solid set of numbers, it laid bare a deliberate strategy to strip volatility out of the business and redeploy the resulting capital. Central to that reset is AIG, which now sits on both sides of Everest’s most consequential 2025 transactions.
