LMA picks ex-RFIB chief and 19-year Aon vet as underwriting director

The  Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) has appointed a new underwriting director, who most recently served as CEO of Nimbla and managing director at RFIB following various executive roles for 19-years at Aon.

Elizabeth Jenkin’s (pictured) appointment as underwriting director is effective from October 09. Jenkin will report to Sheila Cameron, chief executive officer of LMA.

In her new role, Jenkin will play a key part in working with the Corporation of Lloyd’s, LMA’s members and the Lloyd’s market to influence change in the marketplace.

Jenkin joins from Nimbla where she served as chief executive officer.

Cameron said: “I am delighted to welcome Elizabeth to the LMA. Her extensive experience and board-level perspective makes her the ideal person to work with Lloyd’s and the LMA at such a pivotal time for our members, the managing and members’ agents community.”

Jenkin commented: “Under the leadership of Sheila and the wider executive team, the LMA facilitates success for the marketplace. I am both privileged and excited to be part of the mission to make the market a better place and I look forward to leading the Underwriting Team to continue to provide our membership with excellent support, advice and guidance.”
