McGill and Partners hires former Aon CEO as it targets US growth

Broker McGill and Partners has appointed an executive with 40 years’ experience with Aon as a non-executive director/strategic adviser.

Warren Mula joins McGill Global Risk Solutions as a non-executive director and McGill and Partners as a strategic advisor. The company said Mula’s role will be to support the specialist broker’s US plans, encompassing talent, clients, markets and intermediary partners.

Mula joins McGill and Partners after 40 years’ service with Aon, most recently as president of Aon Risk Solutions. This included responsibility for all of Aon's Global Specialty business strategies as well as global carrier relations. This position was held alongside his ongoing responsibilities as the global CEO of Aon Broking.

His previous experience also encompassed a variety of senior management and leadership positions, including chairman of Aon Risk Services Companies, managing principal of the US Northeast region, national US head of the strategic account management group and managing director of the Baltimore/Washington DC offices.
